i dont know about you guys, but i've noticed a BIG difference in lene's look and face. when she came out with her first album i used to think she was beautiful and very cute, and now that she is back she doesnt even look like her self any more. her face has changed a lot. her face and cheeks completely changed shape! her nose stands out more and her lips are much fuller!!! i dont know, but i dont think she should cut her hair that short and i understand that she grew up and she is not a teenager anymore, but she still made a very big change for the worst!!!but no matter what i'll love her and she will always be my idol. |

Yes. She's always that great.
She's always be so pretty.
Yet, I think Lene is more beautiful in the second album, eg. Another day DVD, she looks mature and rock the world!!!
But I don't know what happened in the MV- another day. They shot Lene as a monster.... (I am afraid to say it). The make up is completely driving people insane, she looks like a ...... (I don't want to mention it again. It's horrible)

Well, since they're minds are so polluted with such thoughts, perhaps they should read the lyrics of the rap songs these days... they're mostly about sex and everything... some of them aren't even worth listening to! Compared to them, Lene's songs are so innocent and beautiful...

it's nice that i can talk about her here...last night i made some friends listen to some of her new songs and they changed after 5 seconds and they hated it! they said the music sounded bad and it was just gay! i was very upset and disappointed that people can listen to rap and hiphop all day and not appreciate her...

Sadly, no. Guess they don't really think she's popular enough to make any sales charts... :(
And it's quite surprising i'm the first one, since her CDs are always out of stock... guess they just aren't as mad about her as i am!

Georgette, I understand you. Stay sure that this is the right place for you, where you can talk about everything you want related to Lene and to you.
If you understand and write Italian, as I think, why don't you come to the Italian forum and tell us your story? There are more much topics and debates where you could take part in; then, in the off-topic, for ex., you could know more about what happens in Italy.
Strange anyway that you don't like the place where you live. There are so many people here that would travel to America and in particular Florida, but I can imagine that a holiday is different from living there. Anyway USA is so great, it depends also from the place where you are, doesn't it?
Helios, I'm very happy about what you say. I knew there are many Lene fans in your country but I didn't knew she's so popular. Have you some charts or some data about Lene's sales in Malaysia?
By the way, you're our first fan from that country

Thanks for the nice welcome. Sorry for being so late at giving my gratitude... the time here is really different from Europe... Lene's quite popular here, though there's not been a single time they played "Another Day"'s video, only "You Weren't There". Her CDs sell like hot cakes though! They were sold out for two months before i could get my hands on one of them... Few people that i know have really heard of her though... "Unforgivable Sinner" was extremely popular and always played on the radio one point in time... and this forum's lovely! Congratulations to the Staff...!

i am just soo glad i finally found people that understand me..her voice is just wonderful, she really sounds like an angel, and her music has very deep meanings and it really gets to you. her fisrt album is by far my favourite of all time and when i listen to each song i go back to the place that it reminds me of and i feel like im there and i can just feel it my hart that those songs are soo meaningful.i have never felt this way before about any other artist and thats why i hate not being able to see her here. |

thanks you guys for the warm welcome..i didnt expect replies soo soon...i live in america but i am italian..i moved to florida 3 years ago and i dont like it very much. i know lene because she was very famous when i was still in italy but she is unknown here! nobody knows who she is and when i let them hear her songs they hate it and think it's gay...i hate this! i have no one to talk to about her and i only get to see her videos and music online!!! i really hate this! i love lene soo much! she is my idol and it's her music that helped me live through the change of continents and i still wanna cry when i listen to it...it is soo moving and soo special..i love her music. it represents my life!i hope that i can at least talk about her with you guys...thanx! |

Perhaps she thought she needed a makeover. Or maybe she just grew out of that sweet look. It might be because that now she uses lipstick, and that's why you think her lips look fuller. She might've fattened up a bit, but that's all. As for her hair... personally i think she looks a bit like Pink, just that she's got far better talent!
