Hi,

sorry that I haven't written here for a long time.
I'll be doing more often next time.

Now during the cold days I listen to Lene's music
more often than when LIAM was released. So I think
about the next single to be taken from it. And after
thinking about it over and over again, I've decided,
it is not so good if Lene always brings out upbeat-
songs as singles but a slow song.

My advices are:

Never To Know or Leave My Mind.

Is there any way to contact to Lene or Lene's management
for bringing her this message: Please do not bring out
upbeat songs only but a ballad too.

What do you think about it?

I'm looking forward to your postings.

Regards,

Martin.

The new version of HYH is wonderful, but if the new single should be a slower song, they need a stronger one as second choice.

I will always be doing music, but there are nobody who knows how it will turn out.
I will always be doing music, but there are other people who will decide whether I'll be staying....

Well, thanks for your so many replies.

What do you think about "Hope You're Happy"
or is it not "catchy" enough?
But I guess only the passage "what's going
on in your mind" is good enough.

Well, finally I would decide on "Leave my Mind".

Is there any way to inform Lene's management or Virgin?

Regards,

Martin.

I'm okay I really am now

My Hopes goes for Leave my mind
it's true would be good too and if it has to another "fast song" ..my lucky day, not eyes closed that was planned as the second single, it's not in my top 5 of the liam album

Listening better to "Never to know", I think it's a strong song that still has a hidden power. I mean, with some more drums and sound effects (which already are in the song) it could become more "rock" and/or they could do a good remix for UK.

No, it was released only as a radio promo.
Nothing surprising for me about the poor results for "What if". Without any kind of promotion activities is quite tough to achieve something good.

Going back IT I agree with the ones who stated there's nothing left to lose trying a "slow" single. We'll see...

"I don't know your face no more
Or feel the touch that I adore
I don't know your face no more
It's just a place I'm lookin' for"

I think that now they should really try something else. There's nothing left to lose: if not "It's True", I agree with "Leave my mind". "Never to know" would have good chances too, but the results of some polls we made in Italy tell that people prefer "Leave my mind".
My idea is that they could use "Never to know" for the UK market, I think they'd like that sound more.

Anyway, the idea of Lene's manager to target legal downloadsites rather than the usual charts is not a bad idea. It is the futur and already becoming very popular. CD sales on the other hand keep going down.

I personally remember having considered giving my preference to "It's True". Our Marko already gave this advice in a topic on the lenemarlin.com forum. Anyway Leave My Mind would be a high quality choice too. It would be a great thing that people could appreciate Lene also for some "slower" songs, but in the end that won't be up to me, so we'll just have to wait and see...

The present like I've never seen it before...
