I've posted an english translation of the Nordlys article on www.lene-marlin.no this evening.
Yes, I'm not a politician, I'm not a royalty, I have not come back to rule the country. I'm just going to make some music. - Lene Marlin, August 2003. |

Posted - 09 Sep 2003 : 18:48:57 yeah, let's hope so.
Next Tuesday we'll see if she makes it to the top of the official norwegian sales-chart (I'm quite sure she will)
by the way, this article was published yesterday: http://www.nordlys.no/nyheter/article740884.ece It's not really about Lene, but it is about her cousin, which is her designer... It might be interesting anyway, so I thought i'd link to it. |

It is possible to vote for Lene:
Go to http://www.dr.dk/p3/tjeklisten/
click "seneste tjekliste". A pop-up containing the latest chart will appear.
Now, you've got to write a mail to tjeklisten@dr.dk with your five favourites. (of course LENE MARLIN is your favourite). This has to be done by tuesday. |

Posted - 07 Sep 2003 : 22:49:40 i've been spending some time now, trying to find out if Lene has yet made the chart's in Europe... This is what I found:
Denmark: "The Voice Chart", #16, last week she was #26... Don't really know what kind of chart this is.. Denmark: "Tjeklisten", #7, DOWN from last weeks #5. This chart is based on votes from DR P3's listeners. http://www.dr.dk/p3/tjeklisten/
France: "GoldFM" #41, that's up 9 spots from last week. http://www.goldfm.org/top/index.html
Switzerland: "Radio24", #47, DOWN one from last week http://swisscharts.com/radio24.asp
Switzerland: Radio Fiume Ticino Playlist http://swisscharts.com/radiofiumeticino.asp
That's All....
And the norwegians out there could cheks out this link: http://212.120.0.174/chart/hitp.asp take a look at number 9.... Weird... In Macedonia???????
Also, another thing that is quite scary, is that Lene from Aqua (who is norwegian), is charting in many european and asian country's.. "It's your duty duty, to shake that booty booty" It Makes Me SICK!!!! Any danes reading this??? You can keep her! She oughta be banished from the kingdom of Norway... |

Posted - 07 Sep 2003 : 14:38:49 You're right, you meaned the charts in all the world. Well, we gave news from Italian charts sometimes and one time we made a search in the world charts, but that news were given only in Italian, but you should understand anyway: http://www.lene.it/it/news.asp (news of August, 31)
Anyway, we're preparing an update just now and we'll try to translate it!

Posted - 07 Sep 2003 : 12:57:48 I have to say you're wrong there...I actually have seen those! But since I'm from Norway I know the most of what happens with Lene Marlin on the norwegian charts. But it is said very little about how she is doing in the rest of Europe?!? I know she's not topping any big charts at the moment ( except Hit40 in Norway and some Italian radiostations airplychart maybe) but I hope everyone could try to "investigate" a little about her chartpositions. Especially now when the single soon will be available all over Europe. At least I will be surfing a little bit extra to se how she's holding out in the charts! |

Posted - 07 Sep 2003 : 00:49:18 That's obviously a radio chart.
The norwegian Hit40 is also a radio chart, and Lene is no. 1 there (4th week in a row). www.hit40.no
Also, in the news, there has been mentioned chart positions earlier, just check the archives.
