hi all.just registered and i can see your sincerity while reading your words.no need to tell about my love(lene)if i m here you can guess i love her and her songs.so i m glad to see a fan from istanbul like me,because i ve never seen a Lene fan here.i think i must introduce myself.i m a student of business administration at istanbul Bosphorus University.i hope communicate with people who interested in same artist will be good...

Asia? Well, she's definitely not getting any promotion in Malaysia, apart from me trying to convince some people to listen to her, to no avail. All that crap like Snoopdog or whatever is getting so darned popular here. I don't even know anything about the music industry these days anymore. It's up to my sister to play all that horrible music to keep me up to date (even then i put on my earphones and blast my ears with something suiting my taste). There's absolutely nothing on Lene here. The number of Lene Marlin fans here in Malaysia is dwindling. It seems i'm the only member from South-East Asia who bothers to even post. I know there're people from the Phillipines, and i think there's a few from Indonesia, if i'm not mistaken, but no one else really seems to like, or for that matter care, for Lene.
Though i think she is trying to promote herself in Japan, and hopefully China (since that's where my ancestors came from, and it's the country i still love) i doubt she or Virgin or which ever company who decides to produce her albums will ever bother about South-East Asia. After all, no one here seems to really care for good, quality music.  
My Angels of Light have long left me,
Yet the darkness of the path is queer,
Where have they escaped for purity?
Leading to what i hold so dear
This blinding light glaring in my sight,
Mystery of the unseen so hard to unravel,
Though i struggle to see with all my might.
To where i will go, through time and travel.

- Has anyone noticed how Lene is growing in Asia (Even though half of Turkey is known as europe)
in the Orkut Community there are at least 80/146 members from Iran/Iraq/...
Is there a promotion or something going on here?
