Okay, this is just to fill up my boredom and time, not to mention perhaps to increase my general knowledge...

Who do you all think should be ranked the top 3 greatest artists in the world? Not just in the music industry or the movie industry, but in everything. You know, peace, evolution, science, improvement... whether dead or alive. It'd be nice to see everyone's views.

For me, it would probably be...

1. Socrates (i'm a great fan of philosophy)
2. Jostein Gaarder (moving from ancient philosophy to modern philosophy, though perhaps there should be others who deserve this spot )
3. Err... probably all the saints in the world. Mother Theresa, Buddha, Jesus Christ...

Perhaps it's the easiest for me to tell.

If I can tell only 3, here's the small list...

1. Marie Curie (Too Obvious)
2. Lene Marlin (Yes, "Unforgivable Sinner" is unbeatable, it's to rare to have such a PERFECT song)
3. God (Again. Too Obvious... He made Lene, Marit to make lives great. He made the Allies defeat the Nazi Germany and then made other good stuff)

------------
LENE MARLIN!
Simply the best!

euh...

it's pretty hard!!!! euh,maybe u won't accept my choices,but then ...

1. nicolas hulot (a french tv presentator,he's making huge and very beautiful documentaries about the world,nature,civilisation...this documentary is called "Ushuaîa"...that's the best one in france, and every emission is just a success,it's a so good quality..he's also very implicated in environnement and protection of the earth(Chirac wanted him to be minister of environement, but Hulot refused,he didn't want to enter in the politician market and corruption ... but still Nicolas Hulot is in Chirac's office evry months for giving advices to the president.i'vve got a lot of respect for this man.

2 le baron Haussman (1809-1891) : he's a great architect and made the greatest and biggest working tha paris had never seen ... he changed all streets of the centre, all banks of the Seine, built houyses(that still have his name,we call it "appartements haussmaniens).if Paris has this face today and if Paris is teh most beautiful city of the world,it's thank to him !!!

3 Gustave Eiffel .. no need to tell who is he !!! just a point more,he didn't built only the Tour Eiffel, but a lot of bridges,of houses,he helped for the plan of the statue of liberty in new york.

well,i did this top3 according to my knowledge and my country ... and i respect everyone choices,so i won't disclaim on other choices, even if some make me laught a lot or piouk even ...

Uh? Never seen such a topic Congratulations!!
It's very hard to say, only 3...
Anyway you cannot call "artists" those people. I think you should call them "personalities" or "minds" or something else.
If you with "greatest" mean "more influent", I'll say:
1. Jesus Christ
2. Galileo Galilei
3. Napoleon
Music (and not only): Beatles

Cannot control this... this thing called Lene
Superfan Posted - 15 Aug 2004 : 13:37:46
