Lene will perform in the concert for the Nobel Peace Prize, this year won by Shirin Ebadi. The concert is on December 11th in the Oslo Spektrum.
The event will be presented by Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and will be broadcast in about 100 countries, with a potential audience of 500 million!

AD, definitely, seeing she's working on the video for the upcoming single as of right now (according to you guys) :)

Notice that it is "500 million *households*", which could mean something like 1.0 - 1.5 billion viewers! That's an enormous amount, to say the least.

And, it's a bit funny (for us) that Aftenposten's eye catcher for this article was "Nobel Lene-Marlin concert" and with the words "After having been bothered for three years, Lene Marlin did finally say yes. She will perform at the Nobel concert on December 11th."

My point being that they focused on *her* (Lene) and not any of the other super stars, or the Nobel Prize winner herself... :)

Were is it written she will sing only one song? Hopefully she's allowed to sing several songs (you can't blame me for hoping )

Interesting point, LeneZone...

Thinking back on previous Nobel concerts, many artists have in fact performed live (true live performances). For instance, I clearly remember at least a-ha, Alanis Morisette and Joan Osborne doing real live performances, as have many others, so we could hope Lene does this too.

Wow! Thats a big gig by anyone's standards. I hope she'll play a couple of tracks - including a new single, whatever that may be. It should give the album a bit of a well needed boost!

Go Lene, go!!

My loss, here we go again...

It says 8:00 PM on NRK2 TV, not 8:30 PM...just to make that clear (so you won't miss half an hour!) :)

And the edited replay is on SATURDAY, not Sunday, 13th December.

In about five minutes' time, at 13:30 CET, the press conference will be screened live by VG Nett. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones will be there, and Lene should be too!
