Wednesday 19th November Lene will be talking to her fans via the website of Norwegian newspaper VG. You can ask her questions by using this link: http://tpn.vg.no/view.jsp?Inr=49
I'm sure she will respond to questions in English as well. |

Thanks for the link. I really hope they allow questions in English.

I'm pretty sure they accept questions in English, because last time this newspaper staged a net meeting between Lene and her fans (some three and a half years ago), there were a couple of questions in English. |

Gosh, I don't know what to ask. The only thing I REALLY would like to say to Lene is to thank her for creating so beutiful music. But to come up with a question is harder. I gues "Why are you so great?" isn't that good, right?
P.S. Norweigian people: what do you think she prefers, questions in English or in Swedish?

I've submitted in Norwegian myself. Even though Lene seem to love English, I think she prefers answering questions in Norwegian (but I might be wrong on that).
It doesn't matter really, she is obviously equally fluent in both.

No problems with Swedish. Personally, I think it is ridicuolous that we Scandinavians use English when we have no difficulties whatsoever in understanding one another, plus Swedish is such a beautiful language. Så det går jättebra med svenska!!!! |

In the chat of february 2000 (you can find it on this site) she wrote more when questions were asked in Norwegian. I understand this, 'cos everyone speaks with more thoughtlessness in his own language. But already in that chat she said she preferred to answer in English otherwise no-one would have understood her. I think the important is not to make always the same questions. We of the staff have prepared a "special" question: hope they will consider it.

No, you can go there any time and post questions, for instance right now. The questions have been welcomed for days already now, but you may try during the actual live session as well, but my guess is you're much less likely to get an answer (there could be something of a "first come, first served" principle going on, I know it has been in the past, but much is also up to Lene herself).
Marko: What special question would that be? :)

She's answering questions in chronological order. Till now only one question in English (a boy from our forum). Hope she continues answering another hour!
Edit: no more in chronological order now. She has answered a football question made only a couple of hours ago!

The chat has ended. There was only one answer in English Hope there will be soon other chats. But with over 1.500 questions it's very difficult that she answers to the ones made by us. It's a pity, but there's nothing else to do.
