It's a good thing there is an official Fan club and this site is a true jewel. The people who have founded and organize this Fan Club have all done a very great job. But I sometimes ask myself the question: why an Italian fan club? Why not an European Fan Club? I'm sure there are a lot of volunteers everywhere in Europe to help. I'm getting the impression a lot of fans are getting a little frustrated having to read news that only concerns Italians. What do you visitors think about this?

Thank you for your beautiful words, Meriadoc. You know we've always worked for such important news, and before Lene come back we've waited a lot, growing in the meantime as a site and as a fan-club. We've been the only fan-club, a part from mbuzz, but mbuzz is not a site with news and charts and so on. Therefore, as Lene came back, we've gathered almost all Italian fans, and we've also thought ahead of international fans (not only European), 'cos we knew they needed a place: that's why there's an English homepage and this forum. So you might consider this an Italian, European and International fan-club. We're open to the whole world. But basically we will always be an Italian fan-club, it's obvious, 'cos we are in Italy here, and so we'll have mainly news that concern Italy, mainly thanks to Virgin Italy. Some fans are opening a fan-club in France. But if there isn't a fan-club in Norway or in Belgium, you should ask it to Norwegian or Belgian. And most of all you should ask why lenemarlin.com is still "closed". Anyway, we'll always be happy about every European fan that helps us (and there are already some) and also about new fan-clubs, but sadly Lene has now perhaps less fan that in the past. In Germany and in other European countries, for example, there where many active sites, but after 2001-2 they've almost all abandoned, and the low sales of Lene in those countries doesn't help.

Well, you still have this German site/fan club:
http://www.talk.sniweb.de/
They're still updating. And even though lene-marlin.no isn't a "fan club", it's there, providing Norwegian news (in English). And we're not going anywhere :)

The Lene Marlin Fanbase is a club open to Lene fans from all over the universe! At present we only have members from Earth, but we're working on it..! The club was originally founded to be particularly relevant to British fans of Lene, but the club has since become very international. And especially as Lene news specific to the UK has been a bit sporadic over the past few years, we have also come to focus on worldwide Lene news. And we always look forward to welcoming new members!

Another excellent club at Yahoo! is the Lene Marlin Club. It has founders from Italy and Denmark, and has been the source of many great and eternal friendships! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lenemarlin2 |

There aren't many websites about Lene I haven't visited yet. I'm sure not the only who hasn't ;-)
