Well I've never heard of 'em and I wasn't around in the 70's (Man, I'm only 17)
What genre are they?
I won't say anything...Judge this urself...

Rock, obviously, "glam rock" to be precise. But they touched every kind of music: pop, jazz, disco and most of all lyric. The genius of Freddie Mercury -this name tells you nothing?- was just to mix, in some Queen's masterpieces like Bohemian Rapsody (but also in his own works with the soprano Montserrat Caballé, like "Barcellona", official Olympic hymn in '92) in a extraordinary way classical parts at the piano with rock, all controlled by his unique voice, immediatly recognizable.
Queen were at the top until '91 (when Freddie died of AIDS) then the last album in '95 and other releases afterwards, with a high-selling Platinum Collection in the last 2 years.
Anyway just yesterday I heard a song at the radio and thought I was right when I thought that it's quite impossible not to know at least one Queen song (even if you shouldn't know it's their song): don't tell me you never heard We Are The Champions!!
You should hate sports to have never heard that song. But I'm sure you've listened to a lot of Queen's songs in the past, you only didn't know who they were

and your probably right...Maybe I have heard some songs of them (Like We Are The Champions)
and I don't really like watching sports but I like playing them...

"we will rock you" ??? never heard ... on Vittel commercials all over the world...or in the movie "Knight" ...
or "i want to break free" ???
or we are the champions,this so beautiful song which flowed all over the "Stade de France",when France won the football worldcup against Brazil...
Queen is one of the best group ever !!! 
and Bohemian Rapsody??? this one is "chef d'oeuvre" i mean !!!

Oh I have heard "We Will rock You" so I guess Marko is right,Maybe I have heard thier songs not knowing them...
anyways are they really legal here?

What exactly is happening here?
MY GOD!
I think she looks like the girl in Silent Hill.... Killing the devil and biting the monster. Kicking their ass right upside down :) , and kissing with the zombie in a lovely way. After the battle of the war, she lick her blood in a good taste and suck the others in a good way. You rockz! ^_* Amazon: Lene!!

Hallo Superfan, still in Iran?
How's the situation there now, with Amadinejhad?
I know people can no more listen to western music, for ex., but I've also read articles from iranians which confirm what you said, I mean that a great part of society wants a change, so it's not so bad as it seems. But then why did they vote him?
I will always be doing music, but there are nobody who knows how it will turn out.
I will always be doing music, but there are other people who will decide whether I'll be staying....
