Anyone wanted to know how far Lene's music has gone around the world?
Anyone heard of frappr.com ?
Well its a site which has incorporated Google's maps into there website allowing you to "pin" a location of your self.
I have started a "Lene Marlin Fans" map, all you have to do is add your self to the map and that's it!
so we should see how far she has gone!

Very interesting, custard! I can tell you that she has been heard in all the continents, you've only to give a look to our members section
P.s. There are some errors in that map, indeed. Who is from Sao Tomé?
I will always be doing music, but there are nobody who knows how it will turn out. I will always be doing music, but there are other people who will decide whether I'll be staying....

Let's hope more will follow. I've started a topic on this at the forum of lene-marlin.no Lots of people from the UK on your map. You can't complain about that . Almost as much as the Italians .

hi, I tried to add myself but I kept getting the error 'Invalid City'. I live in the biggest city of one of the top 10 countries with internet users per capita and my city doesn't exist haha
Does anyone know how I can select my city from a menu or a group of options? |

I'll try to figur that out this evening when I'm back from work. You're not the first to have trouble finding a city.

can you tell me or E-mail me whats your city and what user name you entered, then I can look at the logs and see what was going wrong.
if anyone has issues with the frappr site then please e-mail me by clicking here
I will be making a guide on adding your self soon

I might also be to do with the browser: I can't see the map when using Netscape on my Mac. The site is made for Explorer (if I'm not mistaken).

Not true! In fact, the google API's where made for FireFox in the start but then ported over to IE, also it’s the same for yahoo maps which might be used on frappr soon on the main page.
As for Netscape, are you using the new version with the IE and FireFox engine?

Than I'm mistaken . The version of Netscape I'm using on my Mac is old (version 7 something).

hi, I haven't been back in a while. I come in every now and then when I remember about it.
I'm the first Australian person on the map. Yay! This could be my final post until I get to Europe so I'm hoping Lene does a show or two while I'm there. I can't begin to think how amazing it would be to see her in real life. |
