Playing My Game is Lene Marlin's debut album. It was released in Norway in February 1999, after the single Unforgivable Sinner, it broke all of the sales records in her home country. Then it was released in the other European countries, Sweden, Germany, France and Italy, where it was a very big success. At the same time Playing My Game was released in Japan (20/5/99) with a bonus track that in Europe wasn't on the album, but was an Unforgivable Sinner b-side. Playing My Game was released in the massive United Kingdom market with a new cover, in 2000. After the conquest of the whole of the Asian Market with 3 bonus tracks, Lene and Playing my Game just have to conquer the USA... but Virgin is waiting for the results of the second album before launching Lene across the Atlantic ocean.
