Cosa ne pensate? C'è anche il nome di Natalie Imbruglia tra i nuovi musicisti "associati", ma sono davvero tanti i nomi che ho letto ultimamente. Secondo voi i nomi famosi del mondo della musica possono qlc contro la guerra?
Ad es. Bono Vox è riuscito ad ottenere qlc risultato nei suoi impegni a favore dell'annullamento del debito dei paesi poveri e ora sta lottando a favore della causa Aids e riduzione medicinali in Africa.
Apro qui una parentesi: sapete che il nuovo vaccino contro l'Aids (il primo vaccino testato sull'uomo in modo sperimentale nella sua fase finale) ha dato un esito sorprendente, quasi un "segno di Dio", anche se è presto per tirare conclusioni perchè il campione di persone era molto ristretto.
Per i bianchi nn ha funzionato, invece è risultato efficace per quasi l'80% dei neri e per oltre il 60% degli asiatici del campione.
Se ciò fosse confermato, vorrebbe dire che l'Aids può essere combattutto con un vaccino, in barba a tutto ciò che dicevano molti scienziati. E guardacaso proprio in Africa, dove la situazione è più allarmante e dove la gente è povera. Le imprese farmaceutiche nn potrebbero speculare anche sul vaccino, perchè tanto nn ci ricaverebbero nulla. Rimane da vedere se lo produrranno ed esporteranno a prezzi bassi, sempre che sia rimasta loro un po' di coscienza.

Arieccome... ormai Mtv dovrebbe darmi un premio-fedeltà (tra parentesi, ultimamente ho trovato un sito da paura che è molto ma molto meglio di mtv e simili, ma per comodità continuo a consultare mtv.it)

Io cmq ho già visto parte del video a un servizio del Tg5 e l'ho trovato un po' naif, certo non adatto a questo periodo di guerra.

Ultimamente molti artisti stanno facendo video contro la guerra (madonna, blur, celentano...), personalmente lo trovo un modo disgustoso x farsi pubblicità.

Polemiche anche sul nuovo video di Madonna che uscirà lunedì. In "American Life" accusa la cultura americana di creare sogni falsi.
In Inghilterra verrà sicuramente censurato, com'è già avvenuto per le scene di guerra contenute nei video di U2, Radiohead, Bon Jovi e Aerosmith.

Mi ha colpito profondamente l'intervento di Shakira, ma anche gli altri dicono cose giuste. Con tutta sta gente contro, è ormai evidente che l'America va avanti solo per orgoglio.

Se viene beccato in tempo si, ma troppo spesso non ci si cura di se stessi abbastanza per fare i dovuti controlli, e si finisce per farlo progredire... E allora non c'è cura che tenga: se si può operare bene, altrimenti è consigliabile cominciare a pensare al testamento...

P.s. Gli U2 sono candidati all'Oscar per The hands that built America, colonna sonora di The Gangs of New York, e sarebbe veramente forse l'unica cosa che manca loro, un Oscar.
Ma Bono è anche candidato per il premio Nobel per la pace. Certo, ci sono altri 150 candidati, ma il suo attivismo negli ultimi anni non è da poco e lui sta facendo tutto senza scoraggiarsi.

Guarda che il cancro è oggi in gran parte curabile grazie alla ricerca.
Dell'Aids si diceva che è talmente trasformista da nn poter essere combattuto con un semplice vaccino, ma evidentemente qui è stato sperimentato qlc di più di un semplice vaccino, qlc che impedisce alla radice al virus dell'Hiv di portare avanti il suo meccanismo di riproduzione, anche se ora nn ricordo come agisce.
Resta cmq chiaro a tutti che non esiste una cura assoluta per queste malattie, ma si possono soltanto provare a ricercare tante cure, ognuna delle quali potrà essere efficace per un certo tipo di individui. La speranza è che applicandole tutte si possa salvare il maggior n. di persone possibile.
La cosa sorprendente di questo nuovo vaccino sembra essere questa distinzione "razziale", quando proprio l'Aids è così letale e combattuto perchè nn guarda in faccia a nessuno (x fortuna). Probabilmente si tratterà di qlc nella struttura genica dei neri o degli appartenenti ad altre razze, che notoriamente sono anche strutturalmente più forti della nostra.

L'ho trovata un paio di settimane fa su City, un giornale che offrono gratuitamente a Napoli, ma dovrei avere un articolo anche sul Corriere della Sera, se lo trovo te lo trascrivo.
Cmq anche gli scienziati chiaramente nn ne sanno spiegare il motivo. Presto però si faranno i nuovi test e, se confermano il campione, magari anche in misura più limitata (magari in misura maggiore!) vedrai che diverrà la notizia dell'anno, non dico del secolo perché diverrà del secolo solo se troveranno un vaccino che farà guarire anche i bianchi

Poco o niente. La guerra si fa o non si fa per altri motivi...
Mi dici dove hai trovato l'articolo sull'aids? Sono curioso, in particolare perchè la cosa che funzioni sui neri e non sui bianchi mi pare abbastanza improbabile...
