... alla fine della canzone si sente chiaramente un codice morse...
Qualche effetto fatto male o messaggio nascosto?

Su Mtv o All Music ora non ricordo, un po' di tempo fa, rispondendo alle domande dei telespettatori, avevano parlato di questa cosa, affermando che alla fine di My Immortal non c'e' nessun codice o messaggio nascosto, e' solo un effetto sonoro senza nessun senso, forse (aggiungo io) messo li apposta per farlo sembrare tale.

Boh... mia madre l'ha sentita l'altro ieri e ha detto che sembrava un SOS: tre punti, tre linee e tre punti, a me sembrava una frequenza molto più complessa...

No dai, scherzo... ma non ci vedo un segnale. Comunque ti do ragione per quanto riguarda la complessità... un SOS non ci sta proprio. E' un suono molto più complesso.

Eh c'avevo fatto caso anch'io quando comprai il cd... poi mi era passato di mente... Mi pare che però non è solo alla fine... anche durante; con gli auricolari si sente meglio... forse mi sbaglio!

Sì sì... è anche durante... dopo il primo ritornello.
Sinceramente mi pare voluto come effetto, mi sembra strano che dei professionisti sbaglino così clamorosamente in quella che dovrebbe essere una hit internazionale!

Ascoltate Breathe No More, soprattutto la fine. E poi fatemi sapere se quel finale vi suona nuovo!
E' esattamente lo stesso finale di My Immortal (band version).
Me ne sono accorto stamattina ascoltandola fino in fondo... è una canzone che non fa parte di nessun album degli Evanescence, ma è facilmente reperibile su WinMX, eMule... ecc. ecc....

Le canzoni degli Eva sono piene di effetti strani come questi... beh, ne ho sentiti altri, anche se non mi ricordo più in quali canzoni.
Non so se è o non è un codice morse, non lo conosco, tuttavia mi sembra veramente un effetto indovinato, non un errore...

Che cosa dice il codice morse alla fine di "My Immortal"?Non è un codice morse. Se qualcuno riesce a tradurlo, mi piacerebbe sapere cosa significa! E' un suono campionato con un sintetizzatore a tastiera quello che abbiamo usato in quella canzone. E se mantieni la nota a lungo, finisce per fare questo suono che sembra morse, e noi abbiam creduto che fosse molto bello, così l'abbiam lasciato.
