Lene will perform in the concert for the Nobel Peace Prize, this year won by Shirin Ebadi. The concert is on December 11th in the Oslo Spektrum.
The event will be presented by Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and will be broadcast in about 100 countries, with a potential audience of 500 million!

Yes, I was certain that after "Hope You're Happy" had ended, she would announce "Another Day", but nope...

However, what we got was simply excellent. :)

go to www.nrk.no

under the headline "Ingen vanlig popkonsert", click "Se konserten direkte 20.02".

a new window will open, and some kind of browser-test starts. This might take some time, depending on your connection, but be patient!

Click "Nobelkonserten".

The broadcasting doesn't start before 20:00, so you'll have to wait until then.

In about five minutes' time, at 13:30 CET, the press conference will be screened live by VG Nett. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones will be there, and Lene should be too!

Go to: http://www.vg.no/pub/vgart.hbs?artid=205318 and click on 'KLIKK HER'!

ok!! the real matter is that in Italy we can't see it..no networks broadcoasting...
Tef Johs Posted - 10 Dec 2003 : 17:19:35
It says 8:00 PM on NRK2 TV, not 8:30 PM...just to make that clear (so you won't miss half an hour!) :)

And the edited replay is on SATURDAY, not Sunday, 13th December.

Wow! Thats a big gig by anyone's standards. I hope she'll play a couple of tracks - including a new single, whatever that may be. It should give the album a bit of a well needed boost!

Go Lene, go!!

My loss, here we go again...

Interesting point, LeneZone...

Thinking back on previous Nobel concerts, many artists have in fact performed live (true live performances). For instance, I clearly remember at least a-ha, Alanis Morisette and Joan Osborne doing real live performances, as have many others, so we could hope Lene does this too.

Were is it written she will sing only one song? Hopefully she's allowed to sing several songs (you can't blame me for hoping )

In my opinion it will be AD, and anyway i think this definitely will be the best choice
Of course congratulations to Lene for having reached such a goal, I'm really proud of her

Another day goes by - Will never know just wonder why
You made me feel good - Made me smile
