I always wondered why, but sometimes during the evening here in Malaysia, which is around 11 in the morning, 12 noon and 1 in the afternoon in Rome, this site is inaccessible. It's pretty frustrating, but i'm quite sure it's not my browser. I've tried other sites, even hard-to-load sites like National Opinie, and they all work. I've even tested my sister's computer, but i just can't get to this site...  is there any reason for this? Cause it's really, really bugging me... this place has got me hooked...

Hi Helios,
we don't know why the site isn'y accesible in that time. It should be *always* accesible in the world. Can you get to other Italian websites in the same time?

Thanks Zuzzy; i was beginning to doubt that anyone was going to answer this.
Well, i haven't tried accessing other Italian sites at the same time; perhaps i'll try the next time i can't access this site again, and then i'll tell you if i can get to the other Italian sites. For now, thanks again.

I've been having the same problems...
though at 4 P.M in IRAN
it IS accessable but very slow?
I was guessing the Bandwidth and the ASP database....

Got the same prob a couple of times at night, and I live in France...But it never lasted for long so..it's ok.

Argh... earlier i couldn't get here for about 5 hours. The page that appeared said something about the server of this site being either down or busy. I could access other Italian sites, like the Italian Government Tourism Board and http://www.ferrari.it/ ...

Is it that Dshock/DNS error u get?

Eh, i only get "While connecting to the above URL, this error occured : Connection with the server could not be established." or something like that.
My Angels of Light have long left me,

when you can't access the web site, do a nslookup and see if your DNS is getting anything back or ping the sever

I've tried pinging the server,good results...
Its really wierd, the site works great with Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox but IE & Opera...

It could be that the sever is doing a backup up job and things always run a little slow.

I don't really know why it's happening. It's probably because our web provider it's mainly focused on Italian and European users...
but I'm really sorry that I am not able to give you a certain information about it.
