If you read this article:

You'll see that Another Day was lying 10 weeks in France's Top 200 sales chart. Even if the positions were 38 and below, as you can see from the graphic, I would guess the sales figure are much higher than "3000", seeing France is a country with about 60 million inhabitants. I would estimate at least 25 - 30.000 copies.
A commercial failure, you claim? That is a questionable statement. You and others here should remember some facts from Lene's history. Just a couple of weeks before PMG was to be released in 1999, EMI thought 15.000 copies should do the trick. Yes, that's *fifteen thousand* copies. It went on to sell 150.000 copies in Norway alone, sure, but this tells you what EMI actually expected in the commercial sense.
Also, for Another Day, the expectations have been low, sales figure like PMG have never been in the minds of those leading EMI Norway (at least). In this regard, I'd say that 400.000 copies, if accurate, is a pretty solid sales figure for AD. It's of course lower than PMG, unquestionable, but it's not an unconditional "commercial failure", as many here would seem to think. This sales figure means millions of NKR in gross income, as we already have estimated.
I also note that if taking the absolute most negative and pessimistic view possible for an artist's career ("getting fired by the record company") is the way you people choose to "support" your favourite artist, then I'd have to question the value of this support. I'd think Lene has many people around her giving her the realistic viewpoints on her career. From us, however, she needs something else, and that is positivism and genuine support.
Needless to say, I stand by my view on this matter.

True, i am yelling for the right to express my opinion. I'm not trying to make you change yours, but just to let you realise how hurting you're being. Sure, i'm not licensed to tell you what to do, but you needn't be so extremely sarcastic... yeah, you don't agree that you're sarcastic. Please, look in the mirror. It's not nice to have other people to tell you to stop something, but in return, think of how you're treating them. You're spitting saliva in many people's faces.
Sure, so you say it quite ridiculous that she'll be fired. Well, have you ever thought about the other possibility? And you say we're being negative and pessimistic. Well you've got to know that this world isn't so positive. Well, in my opinion, it's better to be negative than positive, then if the negative side does surface, your fall won't be so hard. It's just a way of preparing for a rainy day.
If i'm being sarcastic or spitting at you, just note that i'm just following your example.

ok,that was my little speech,i'm incrimining nobody especially, just the ones who used this base "quote,f**k,quote,f**k,so you're wrong!!!"

Above, I gave both references and clear reasons for my view. If you can't accept it, then it's really not my problem.

It wasn't your fault georgette. You asked a simple question and I replied with a "ridiculous" comment!
But hey - I don't care. I'm a crazy rediculous kinda guy!
My loss, here we go again...

We didn't really got into a fight. I've been in worse discution with a lot less polite people on other forums and newsgroups. This is a polite forum with civiliced people who occasionaly disagree. And for news about Lene: if you know a little Italian, try the italian forum. Much more comments and news. BTW, nobody blaims you for starting a topic. We blaim people who never have started one

Most of american don't know/recognize europan artists and vice versa. Ask americans,"Do you know Lene Marlin, Gareth Gates, Westlife, Neri Per Caso?" They would answer,"No, We don't know." and then ask europans, "Do you know Michelle Branch, Stacie Orrico, or Hillary Duff?" They would answer, "No, Who are they?"
Fair enough?
-------Signature--------- -Making Shorter Far Distance -Deadly Curse -Healing Medical or Non-Medical Desease -Walking On Water -Being Invicible -etc Questions like : -How to survive If you were atttacked by group or mass? 70-80 people even 100 people? -Could you eat razorblade or glass? -How to see another world? -How to protect your house from thief, robber, terrorist, or voodoo? -How to know danger before happening to you? -How to make your body imvulnerable from all kinds of weapon? Occultism is the solution! This may explain you : Occultism? If you have heard about it you might think about voodoo in New Orleans or Indian...Open your eyes!! They are old-fashioned occult science !! I have modern and very ultimate occult power to protect myself from danger or to help my and another's problem, to heal, to see or visit another world, to have a communication with spirit or genie, etc I'm not old-fashioned shaman ( If you could see my face and what I was wearing, you would think I'm an ordinary and normal guy. Just like another )and my occult power doesn't need victim or weird ritual, It's different from occult power that you have heard/seen but more powerful Most of western people don't believe in supernatural, paranormal activity, clairvoyance, Astral Traveling, Inner power, Extra Sensory Perception, etc. But two things you should know I can see norway on my bedroom wall by using my inner-eyes and by study occult power you will have high quality of personal survival.
