Sorry, I am not Italian so this message has to be in English. I would like to inform you diehard Lene-fans about an article that appeared in Nordlys (Tromsø local paper) on Friday. (http://www.nordlys.no/69/24/50/1.html) Some of you might remember that Lene was strongly criticised in Tromsø because she didn’t come to pick up an award they’d given her. This week, Lene wrote a letter to the mayor in Tromsø, and apologised for not picking it up. ”My personal situation made this very difficult”, she explains in the letter. Also, this article features an interview with Hans Grøttheim, one of the bosses of Virgin Norway. I have translated the bits in the article about Lene’s next album:
[…].But now Lene is ready to meet fans and media again.
”We haven’t set a final date, but Lene feels that she is now ready to come out again.
-Now things are definitely going well for Lene, he says.
Virgin has previously announced that Lene’s second album was due in 2003. Grøttheim says a date has not been set.
-No, we haven’t set a date. It could be 2003 or it could be 2008. We dont know.
-Is she still in the studio?
-She is, and she writes new songs every week. She has written an awful amount of new songs. And they are of course very good.
-What does she do apart from that?
-Has breakfast, reads papers, has dinner and listens to music, Grøttheim laughs.[….]
So, I wouldn’t be too sure about the May date, if she is still in the studio. But what’s important is that she’s definitely back on her feet again!!!
Anyone who wishes to reply to this thread, please do so in your wonderful Italian language, which I can read, but unfortunately not write yet!!

Bene, già sapevamo della news, c'è un topic in questo stesso forum che ne parla. L'abbiamo avuta dal Vg e da Nrk. Entrambe riportavano la lettera di scuse di Lene al sindaco di Tromso. Si parlava anche del fatto che l'album era ormai pronto al lancio, così come si diceva che Lene stessa si sentiva pronta a tornare in pubblico.

Questa parte mi risulta nuova, ma si tratta di cose già dette in passato. Ormai Lene ha terminato l'album, magari scrive ancora canzoni, ma certamente non per questo album. Abbiamo avuto dalla Virgin Italia importanti segnali che Lene si sta preparando a tornare in pubblico e la data di maggio corrisponderebbe con le previsioni che faceva la Virgin a novembre, secondo cui l'album sarebbe stato nei negozi entro la prima metà del 2003.

F@nny do you remember last year, when I told you that around Christmas there would have been a surprise for you (and not only for you)? Two months have gone away, but now it's time for the surprise!
Of course I am hoping to continue on as a music artist. I have written all the songs for the next album, and am looking forward to beginning the recording process. Purtroppo se nn tutti capite bene o sapete scrivere in lingua, nn è certo colpa mia, ma cmq si rimedierà presto anche a questo.

Certo che hans g è veramente molto vago, ma Lene ci dorme anche in studio?Ma quante canzoni ha scritto, cmq nella lista jap che vedeva in uscita i placebo verso il 20 marzo, oggi ho visto il loro video, quindi anche se non succederà niente occhi aperti non si sa mai.

Ma xche tanto "panico"??? Il nostro amico norvegese ha detto di saper leggere l'italiano ma nn di saperlo scrivere... qndi chi ha problemi cn l'inglese scriva in italiano, chi ha problemi cn quello che ci scrive, o nn segue il topic o usa un sito x tradurre on-line il testo, eccone uno, e due.
Ok nn sarà il massimo ma almeno vi fate un'idea del discorso!
